Ruth studied at CIT Cork School of Music in Ireland where she graduated with a First-Class Honors BA in Popular Music in June 2018. Since then she has been in the bright lights of LA, honing her craft and perfecting her music.
Ruth even entered The Great American Song Contest and amazingly won a place as a finalist in the Inspirational category. Truly inspired, Ruth Brosnan returned to her hometown, inspired and ready to release music.
‘Good Enough’ was Ruth Brosnan’s first single, a moving and emotive piece vastly different from Toodle-oo. Ruth explains-
“I wrote this song from my own life experience. I lost my mother to suicide in 2010 when I was fourteen years of age. In Ireland and many other countries there has been an increase in suicide rates with worrying increases among younger people. Mental health and wellness are really important and I want to increase awareness”.
Single Good Enough made waves for the rising star, amassing thousands of streams and picking up great exposure across radio and popular music blogs.
Toodle-oo demonstrates a brighter side to the talented Ruth Brosnan, showing her diverse song-writing ability and skill.
A feel good track that is guarnteed to but a smile on your face, listen to Toodle-oo now!
