The Weekend teases collaboration with Ariana Grande on ‘Save Your Tears’

As reported by Billboard, the ‘Blinding Lights’ singer is set to revisit the ‘After Hours’ album (2020) in the way of remixing past tracks. ‘Save Your Tears’ originally appeared on the ‘After Hours’ album and is currently the most streamed track by The Weeknd on Spotify, sitting pretty at 504,607,779 streams.

The 27-year-old, real name is Abel Tesfaye, tweeted, “p.s. this chapter isn’t quite done yet … still tying some loose ends. (sic)”, alluding to the possibility of the current era of music not being closed. This was later confirmed as both The Weeknd and Grande released an eight-second audio snippet on Twitter (April 19th) which showcased them harmonising to a ‘Save Your Tears’ line: “I don’t know why I run away“.

Whilst no release date has been confirmed; fans should expect a soulful reworking of this hit in the near future.
